【Overview】

[] The X1000 shield is an NVME M2 2242 SSD PIP (PCIe Peripheral Board) for the Raspberry Pi 5 that uses the new PCIE interface of the Raspberry Pi 5 to utilise the NVME M2 SSDs for fast data transfers and ultra-fast booting.

[] With 40pin pin header, it can automatically supply power from GPIO, avoiding the problem of insufficient power supply for ultra-large capacity SSDs.

PS:

The X1000 hardware has no limit on NVME SSD capacity, which is dependent on the Raspberry Pi OS.

Do not reserve the nut column to fix the 2230 SSD, users need to find proper way to fix the 2230 SSD.

【PCle Interface Design Based on PI5】

[] It can be connected to PI5 through FFC cable, and directly supply power to X1000 shield from FFC PCIe tape (providing maximum continuous power of 5W).

【Support NVMe】

[] NVMe protocol M.2 interface hard disk, high-speed reading and writing, compatible with M.2 hard disk of 2230/2242 size.

【ACT LED indicator】

[] On-board ACT LED indicator; On: power supply is normal/standby, flashing: read/write.

【Heatsink】

[] Support the installation of official active radiators and third-party radiators.
