Product Features
This product is a finger vein recognition module based on a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4F processor with a main frequency of up to 192MHz. It supports floating-point operations and DSP instruction sets, and can efficiently run biometric algorithms. The module adopts a light-board separated structure design, which is easy to embed into various terminal devices and improve the integration of the whole machine. The module interface is compatible with the fingerprint recognition industry standard protocol, has good platform adaptability and scalability, and supports rapid development and deployment. It is widely used in smart security equipment such as smart door locks, push-pull or hidden handles, small smart lockers, and access control and attendance systems to help achieve high-precision and high-reliability identity authentication solutions.

Finger vein recognition
Unlike traditional fingerprint modules that collect surface fingerprint images, the finger vein recognition module is based on the principle of near-infrared imaging. It obtains the distribution image of the veins inside the finger by detecting the absorption characteristics of hemoglobin in the blood to near-infrared light. This process effectively avoids the recognition failure caused by damaged, worn or contaminated skin surface texture. After collecting the image, the module will perform multiple processing processes such as image enhancement, filtering, normalization, binarization and feature extraction in sequence to extract the spatial topological feature values of the vein and achieve high-precision live identity recognition. For users whose fingerprints are unclear, worn or missing, finger vein recognition provides a more stable, reliable and secure alternative.

Precautions for use
- After long-term use, thick dust may accumulate on the surface of the collection window, affecting the finger vein recognition effect. The device should be cleaned regularly.
- You can use a cotton swab dipped in a small amount of alcohol to wipe the collection window. If conditions permit, you can use high-concentration liquor. Do not use liquids such as board washing water and electric whitening oil to wipe it.
- The collection window should be protected from impact by sharp objects.
- Avoid using in rain, direct sunlight, or in strong magnetic or electrical environments.
- It is strictly forbidden to have metal objects or conductive materials contact or approach the surface of the collection window to avoid physical damage
