ESP32-S31-Zero Mini Development Board: 32-bit dual-core RISC-V processor, 320MHz clock speed, supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth, with an onboard USB Type-C interface.

ESP32-S31-Zero Mini Board

Based on the ESP32-S31 series chips, this design breaks out most of the pins within a compact form factor.

Utilizes a half-hole (castellated hole) process, allowing it to be soldered onto a custom board.

Product Features

The ESP32-S31-Zero is a compact, multi-protocol development board based on the Espressif ESP32-S31 series chip. It integrates wireless communication, firmware downloading capabilities, power conversion, and common expansion interfaces. Featuring a high-performance dual-core processor and on-package PSRAM, it provides the necessary resources for networked control, graphical user interfaces, and embedded data processing.

  • Equipped with a high-performance dual-core 32-bit RISC-V processor with a maximum clock frequency of 320MHz, and featuring an integrated independent low-power RISC-V processor.
  • Integrates 512KB of high-performance SRAM, 32KB of low-power SRAM, and 320KB of ROM
  • Available in two chip versions—ESP32-S31NRV16 and ESP32-S31NRV32—featuring 16MB and 32MB of integrated Octal SPI PSRAM, respectively.
  • Supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi 6 and is compatible with IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax; also supports Bluetooth 5.4 LE, Classic Bluetooth, and IEEE 802.15.4, enabling development for Zigbee and Thread applications.
  • Features an onboard CA-C03 SMD antenna and an IPEX-1 antenna connector; the antenna connection method can be configured via the RF matching circuit.
  • Equipped with a USB Type-C port for power supply, USB Serial/JTAG programming, log output, and debugging.
  • Onboard WS2812B-1010 addressable RGB LED, plus BOOT (download) and RESET buttons
  • Display, touch, SD/MMC, and GPIO signals are routed out via a 40-pin board-to-board connector, facilitating connection to an expansion baseboard.
  • Provides accompanying examples covering development topics such as GPIO, RGB LEDs, buttons, UART, I2C, Wi-Fi, and BLE.

Version Selection

The "X" in the model number represents the PSRAM capacity, with support for two configurations: 16MB and 32MB.
