JETSON-ORIN-POE-MODULE User Guide

Introduction

The JETSON-ORIN-POE-MODULE is a mini 802.3af-compliant Power Over Ethernet accessory for the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano/NX. By using this small module and some proper 802.3af-compliant power sourcing devices, it is possible to provide both network connection and power supply for your Orin board in only one Ethernet cable.

  • Suitable for Jetson Orin Nano / Jetson Orin NX.
  • PoE (Power Over Ethernet) capability, IEEE 802.3af/at-compliant.
  • Fully isolated switched-mode power supply (SMPS).
  • Smaller and more flexible with a more compact component layout.

  • PoE power input: 37V ~ 57V input
  • Power input: 12V 2.1A DC output
  • Network standard: support IEEE 802.3af/at PoE
  • Dimensions: 21 × 92mm

Precautions

  • Note: since the PoE board is small and the temperature of the transformer will be high when working, please do not touch the transformer.
  • It is recommended to add an extra cooling solution when using this module.
  • The PoE pin header of Orin Nano/NX baseboard needs to be pre-soldered before connecting the PoE module.
  • Please remove the screws on the mounting hole and secure it with the matched copper standoffs when installing the product.
