JETSON-ORIN-POE-MODULE User Guide

Introduction

The JETSON-ORIN-POE-MODULE is a mini 802.3af-compliant Power Over Ethernet accessory for the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano/NX. By using this small module and some proper 802.3af-compliant power sourcing devices, it is possible to provide both network connection and power supply for your Orin board in only one Ethernet cable.

Suitable for Jetson Orin Nano / Jetson Orin NX.
PoE (Power Over Ethernet) capability, IEEE 802.3af/at-compliant.
Fully isolated switched-mode power supply (SMPS).
Smaller and more flexible with a more compact component layout.

Precautions

Note: since the PoE board is small and the temperature of the transformer will be high when working, please do not touch the transformer.
It is recommended to add an extra cooling solution when using this module.
The PoE pin header of Orin Nano/NX baseboard needs to be pre-soldered before connecting the PoE module.
Please remove the screws on the mounting hole and secure it with the matched copper standoffs when installing the product.
