【Features】

[] The Pi5 5V5A PD power module is a power module with a 5V5A handshake protocol designed specifically for Raspberry Pi 5. The module can support USB-C interface PD power input, and the PD negotiation voltage is 12V; in order to ensure full load output of 5V5A, the PD power supply needs to have an output of 12V3A. At the same time, the module also supports traditional power supplies with DC5.5-2.1 interfaces (wide voltage input 9-15V). Similarly, in order to ensure full load output of 5V5A, it is necessary to ensure that the power supply can provide an output of more than 30W, such as 12V3A output.
[] On the output side, we provide two interfaces, USB-A and USB-C, which support 5V5A output. USB-A does not carry CC signal and cannot perform PD negotiation with Raspberry Pi. USB-C has CC signal and can perform PD negotiation with Raspberry Pi and support 5V5A output.
[] Taking into account the line loss from the output end to the power-consuming device end, we provide a jumper cap. Unplugging the jumper cap can increase the output voltage by 0.2V.

【Hardware Resources】

[] Onboard PD protocol chip, USB-C supports Raspberry Pi 5 dedicated 5V5A protocol;
[] The USB-A port output does not have a protocol and cannot be adjusted via the protocol.

[] The standard fan can ensure long-term operation at full load of 5V5A. The fan can be removed when the load is less than 3A;

【Raspberry Pi 5 Demo】

[] The CC cable needs to be a standard CC cable with USB and CC signals, and the Raspberry Pi 5 system can handshake and recognize 5A;

[] If you use a CA cable to connect to the Raspberry Pi 5, the USB-A port on the module is a 4-wire USB2.0, and the handshake cannot be performed, and the system cannot recognize 5A.
