Rotate Touch screen Issue

2026-02-13 03:12:40 Ask

When I rotate the display 90 degrees using the PI Screen Configuration, the touch functions do not align with the display.

Is there a config file that can be added to the touch function to align it with a screen that is used vertically,

vs horizontally?

If you have open fkms config Configuration like

dtoverlay=vc4-fkms-v3d

Latest system. When selecting rotate display from the desktop, then you can rotate  touchscreen .

if you use old OS version or not open fkms ,you can try

Display rotation problems like this often happen when the screen orientation is changed but the touch calibration still follows the original layout, especially on devices like Raspberry Pi. Updating the touchscreen calibration or adjusting the configuration file can usually align the touch input with the vertical display properly. Managing technical fixes like this while handling academic pressure can be challenging, which is why some students look for support services where they can pay someone to take my statistics exam to better balance their studies and technical projects.
