Separated power source

Hello, I would like to power (via HAT connector) the RPi without powering the display and power the display only when needed.

Is there a way to do this or is there a way to power control the display via RPi command ?

This functionality cannot be achieved.


One solution is to solder jumpers to the power button,

and then control the power button via the Raspberry Pi's GPIO.
