I almost got hit with a $75 fee because my bag was 42 lbs! Most airlines give you 50 lbs, but Frontier’s limit is a strict 40 lbs. If you go over, the fees are steep ($75 for 41-50 lbs). The best way to avoid this is to use a handheld scale at home. I ended up wearing three layers of clothes just to make weight!
