Log into “My Trips,” choose your flight, and click “Change Trip.” You can modify your travel date, time, or destination instantly. I once changed mine last minute and verified everything by calling (831) 298-4213. American no longer charges change fees on most fares, except Basic Economy. You’ll only pay the difference if your new flight is more expensive. A confirmation email follows right after.
