ESP32 C3 0.42LCD 3V, G, 5V, BAT - inputs or outputs?

I can power it through the USB-C port just fine. Wondering about the other ports, does "BAT" mean it will take a direct wire from a LiIon battery? Can it charge too? Will there be output on the 5V if only BAT power is connected?

If just battery

5V Pin will not have power output

Just have 3V3 output

Thank you. So Battery input handles 3-4.2volts, the 3V line is not an input, and the 5V is for USB voltage? If I have 5v coming in, on the pin or from the cable, does the "BAT" pin charge a battery?
