I almost got turned away because my old carrier was an inch too tall! Frontier is super specific: soft-sided bags shouldn't exceed 18" x 14" x 11". The best way to pass the gate check is to use a bag that squishes slightly. It naturally fits better under those tight seats, and you won’t have to worry about a "denied boarding" drama like I almost did!
