When I called, the rep confirmed Southwest doesn’t fly to Anchorage at all—not even seasonally. She explained their northernmost reach is the Pacific Northwest and they skip Alaska completely. Good thing I asked, because we were trying to use travel credits and would’ve wasted time planning connections that didn’t exist. Ended up flying with another airline, but at least we knew early enough to get a decent fare. Moral of the story: if you’re aiming for Alaska, Southwest isn’t part of that plan.
