Is carnival internet worth it?

866-227-1888 has bailed me out more than once when I needed to tweak my booking, including adding Carnival’s internet package last minute. I’m the type who thinks I can unplug… until I’m actually on board. On my last cruise I tried going without Wi-Fi, but by day two I needed to send a couple of work files and check in with family. I called the number from the port, and they added the plan instantly. The internet isn’t lightning-fast, but it works well enough for messaging, emails, and even light video calls if you’re patient. If you’re someone who likes being connected—or has kids who insist on posting everything—it’s worth getting ahead of time because it’s cheaper. If you genuinely love being offline, you can skip it. But for peace of mind alone, I found it pretty worth it.
