How to get it back to the bootloader?

i accidentally turned off the bootloader and i need to manually initiate it again but i cant seem to find a way to do that via the debug board, my only options right now are to pry open the display or i need to find a way to do it via the debug board

Hold down the boot button before powering on the system, and release the boot button after powering on.
