can i make a total hardware reset? the board does no more connect to a pc or mac via serial port; probably by my wrong programming of spi pins

After plugging in the USB and powering on, first press and hold the BOOT button without releasing it. Then press the RST button, and release the RST button. At this point the display should be blank, and a new COM port should appear on your computer. After that, you can release the BOOT button.

This method forces the board into firmware download (flashing) mode.

Thanks for the tip! I wasn't aware of that trick using the BOOT and RST buttons to force download mode. It can be really useful when incorrect pin configuration prevents any serial connection.
