Raspberry How to set LCD resolution


1.download the latest raspbian OS from raspberry pi 
official web

2. Insert the SD card to your computer. Burn the raspbian OS
(A img file downed from official web)  to your SD card

3. open the file "config.txt" at the SD card root 
directory by your computer

4. Add the following code at the end of the file,Then
save the changed file

If the LCD is 800x480 resolution
max_usb_current=1
hdmi_group=2
hdmi_mode=1
hdmi_mode=87
hdmi_cvt 800 480 60 6 0 0 0
hdmi_drive=1


If the LCD is 1024x600 resolution
max_usb_current=1
hdmi_group=2
hdmi_mode=1
hdmi_mode=87
hdmi_cvt 1024 600 60 6 0 0 0
hdmi_drive=1

If the LCD is 1280x800 resolution
max_usb_current=1
hdmi_group=2
hdmi_mode=1
hdmi_mode=87
hdmi_cvt 1280 800 60 6 0 0 0

hdmi_drive=1

5.Insert the SD card to your Pi. Then work
